Marks and Spencer Launch Valentine’s Cocktail

If you are a follower of our blog, you will know just how much we love learning. This is why we are always keen to hear about new cocktail-making trends and of course; recipes. And, one brand that is leading the way when it comes to pre-mixed cocktails is Marks and Spencer.

Having developed many lavish cocktails around the Christmas period, it appears that the high-end supermarket is now focused on Valentine’s Day.

Launching a new cocktail mixture just in time for the romantic holiday, the internet is going wild for the pretty pink mixture.

According to sources, the drink is made from rum, rum-based, cranberry flavours, lime and orange peel. Said to pack a real punch, the drink is suggested to be served over crushed ice and with orange or garnish. Yum!

Jenny Rea, Marks & Spencer’s drink developer, said:

‘It’s all about staying in this Valentine’s day and we were determined to bring the romance of cocktails at the bar to the comfort of your own home.

‘It’s a zesty mix of orange, cranberry and lime perfectly matched to the smooth finish of rum – it’s the perfect cocktail to start the evening without the hassle.’

What’s more is that the Valentine’s Day booze can also make up part of the famous M&S £20 meal deal – #winning!

Expected to be a big hit amongst the lovebirds of the UK, the drink comes in an eye-catching red bottle and works well as a V Day present.
