Drink of the Week: Heavenly Irish Cream and Cinnamon Cocktail

Gone is a summer filled with fruity cocktails, and refreshing drinks that danced on the palate. Now it’s time for something a bit richer as we edge our way towards winter.

Irish Cream Liqueur is a perfect evening drink for those after something a big naughty. The versatile liqueur is ideal for cosy evenings by the fire, or as a delicious bar cocktail. Here, we give our recipe for a cinnamon spice beverage with an added vanilla flavouring.

You’ll Need:

  • 25ml Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 20ml Vanilla Flavoured Vodka
  • 120ml Milk
  • A Cinnamon Stick
  • A Pinch of Cinnamon

To make this aromatic tipple, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. The, add in the Irish Cream, vodka and milk. Shake the mixer well until the container is ice-cold to the touch. Using a cocktail strainer, fill a martini glass with the mixture you have created. To garnish, sprinkle some cinnamon on top to decorate and add a spicy flavour. Then, pop in a cinnamon stick (for the Gram).

All that’s left now is to enjoy your rich, creamy creation!
